A relatively simple cocktail to make, vodka makes up the base of the cosmopolitan, however either citrus or plain vodkas can be used, depending on your preference. In order to make your own, mix the following ingredients in a shaker with some ice, and then garnish with a lime slice. The cosmopolitan is best served in a large cocktail glass, such as a martini glass.
• 40 ml Vodka Citron
• 15 ml Cointreau
• 15 ml Fresh Lime Juice
• 30 ml Cranberry Juice
If a week of the classic cosmo is a bit too much for you, or you just fancy a little twist, we’ve highlighted below a few of our favourite variations of the cosmopolitan.

40 ml Vodka Citron
15 ml Cointreau

15 ml Cointreau
15 ml Fresh Lime Juice

An interesting twist on the classic cocktail, this recipe combines the cosmopolitan with another well-known cocktail, the bellini, resulting in a bubblier and slightly fruiter drink. With this one, mix all the ingredients except the prosecco together, poor into a champagne flute and then top with prosecco.

40 ml Vodka Citron
15 ml Cointreau
15ml Fresh Lime Juice
