Spooky Cocktails for Halloween

Zombie Cocktail Recipe 

Get right into the Halloween mood with this aptly named cocktail. Mixing a trio of tasty rums, if you’re not careful, this cocktail might leave you feeling like the undead.

Ingredients

  • 25ml dark rum 
  • 25ml white rum 
  • 25ml gold rum
  • 50ml lime juice
  • 150ml pineapple juice
  • Ice
  • 1 tsp grenadine

 

 

 

 

Flowers of Evil Recipe

A more unusual recipe, this spooky cocktail is a good way to mix up the usual selection.

Ingredients

  • 50ml rose vodka
  • 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 25ml egg white
  • 5ml absinthe

Halloween Punch

If you’re more of a sharer, this punch is perfect for a Halloween party. With both alcoholic and non-alcoholic variations this recipe is the perfect way to cater for everyone.

Ingredients

    • 2l cherry juice
    • peel from 3 oranges
    • 3 cinnamon sticks
    • 10 cloves
    • 6 slices ginger
    • Dracula’s fangs sweets (optional)

Method

Tip the cherry juice, orange peel, chilli, cinnamon sticks, cloves and ginger into a large saucepan. Simmer for 5 mins, then turn off the heat. Leave to cool, then chill for at least 4 hrs, or up to 2 days – the longer you leave it the more intense the flavours.

Serve into a large jug or into glasses. Add the vodka at this point.

    • .25 Ounce of your favorite Whisky 
    • 1.5 Ounces Apple Cider 
    • Barspoon of Lemon Juice
    • Egg Whites 
    • Superfine Sugar

  • 25ml London Dry gin
  • 25ml white wine-based aperitif
  • 25ml triple sec
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp absinthe
  • 1-2 tsp sugar syrup

  • Strip of orange peel, to serve

  • 25ml vodka
